Welcome to Baitul Huda Sunday School at Masjid Al-Furqan West Cobb Islamic Center, where we foster Islamic knowledge, character development, and community belonging in a supportive educational environment.
Our curriculum integrates Islamic teachings with critical thinking skills, helping students develop a strong foundation in their faith while preparing them for the modern world.
Our teachers combine Islamic scholarship with professional teaching styles, ensuring students receive both authentic knowledge and effective educational methods.
We foster a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among students, creating lifelong bonds while building a strong Muslim identity within the broader American context.
At Baitul Huda, we understand that quality Islamic education requires both traditional wisdom and modern teaching approaches. Our balanced methodology ensures students not only learn about Islam but learn to love it.
Students learn proper recitation (tajweed), memorization (hifz), and understanding of Quranic verses appropriate for their age level.
Practical guidance on prayers, fasting, and other acts of worship with hands-on demonstration and regular practice.
Engaging lessons about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his companions, and important events in Islamic history.
Focus on Islamic ethics, moral values, and developing good character through real-life examples and interactive activities.
Classes meet every Sunday from August through May, with breaks for major Islamic and Cobb County School holidays. Students are placed in appropriate age groups: Kindergarten (ages 5-6), Elementary (ages 7-10), Middle School (ages 11-13), and High School (ages 14-15).
