Masjid Al-Furqan West Cobb Islamic Center is an Islamic center serving as a masjid, school, and a gathering place for the Muslim community in Georgia. Masjid Al-Furqan is currently located on Powder Springs Street in Marietta, GA, but with your continued support, Masjid Al-Furqan will be moving to a bigger facility, conveniently located on Barrett Parkway in Marietta, GA. The new masjid will consist of a main musullah (prayer hall) and a private sisters’ musallah, education facilities, multipurpose hall and gym, library, sisters’ areas, and children’s play areas. Masjid Al-Furqan offers Juma’a prayer (Friday prayer), Sunday School for muslim children, regular youth activities and Quran classes for adults. The masjid conducts social services such as zakaat and sadaqa (alms and charity) distribution and refugee assistance. Masjid Al-Furqan participates in many social activities, such as community picnics, hiking through Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, and community outreach with the Christian and Jewish communities.
